Optimization Strategies to Help Build Your Business!

Any company who specializes in Search Engine Optimization understands that the relationship between the company and the client involves expectations of success in their marketing efforts. The client's expectations are sometimes greater than reasonable because the client wants results quicker than may be possible. The company representative should discuss with the client that results of optimization will vary in each individual promotion campaign and many time will take longer than expected.

Patience is a virtue when it comes to online optimization, marketing and promoting. Optimization on any campaign is a process that takes commitment, consistency and patience to experience positive results with any of the many SEO companies you may choose. Online marketing and optimization is totally different than any other advertising medium so different strategies must be implemented.

There are three main areas that must be considered when you're putting together an optimized marketing campaign.

First of all your optimization specialist must make sure your web site is optimized correctly with a least one keyword and no more than 3 keywords in your title.

Secondly, your marketing consultant must do some extensive research to determine exactly what must be done to make your site move in the search engine rankings. Normally optimizing your keyword area will help substantially. Twenty to twenty five relevant keywords are enough keywords to use for most websites. Using fewer keywords will help you to laser focus your marketing efforts. Be cautious and don't overdo it with your keywords. Don't use more than 3-5% keywords to content ratio. Keyword stuffing will kill any chances of good search engine rankings. In some campaigns I will use only one keyword if I want to laser focus my whole promotion campaign.

Third, your SEO representative must design a program for the short term page rank movement, plus design a long term blueprint that must be followed for long term results that will keep your site in top positions with the search engines once you get there. This process is not an overnight process and may take weeks, months or even years to earn and keep the organic page ranking positions you desire.

One critical element of any successful campaign should include a strategy of designing, implementing and building links and back links to your business opportunity. The search engines love links and the more links you generate the quicker your website will move up in ranking positions.

Keep in mind that if your product or service is competitive your results will take longer than normal to accomplish your goals. Some other reasons that will weigh heavily against you is improper source codes, junk code and duplicate content.

Don't be afraid to ask your SEO professional questions about what is being done to help move your site forward. Be willing to accept change if necessary to see the results you expect. Each and every campaign is unique and should be customized to your likes and dislikes, however, let your professional do his or her job in an effort to make it all happen.

If your SEO professional is not getting results, there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion of whether his or her strategies will work to accomplish your online marketing goals. If your expert can't resolve problem quickly, then you might be wise to have a heart to heart talk with your representative and make some changes in your strategies to gain those high ranking positions you desire.

Use Press Releases to Announce Your Business!

Marketing effectively online requires a number of different processes that must blend together and flow like a well oiled machine when you're promoting your business opportunity. Not everyone who markets online knows how to do this process and many don't really care to learn. This is where it may be to your advantage to acquire the professional services of a marketing expert to help you in this ever changing process of promoting your business.

One critical element many of the professionals use for successful marketing results is using press releases on a regular basis. Just putting out a press release by itself probably won't give you the recognition you feel you might deserve. However, including press releases in your overall strategies will make an excellent, well rounded, powerful marketing campaign come alive.

A press release for online distribution is rather easy to create, informative to the reader and easy to distribute. Your press release should include between 400-800 words in total and should be written in the 3rd person format. There are no limits regarding the amount of press releases you can write and distribute so use this marketing tool to your advantage.

If you've had something exciting in your marketing efforts then do a press release on that specific issue and share it with the masses on the internet. Let's say that you recently started using a remarkable marketing tool and you signed up as an affiliate for that product and the new system has been producing some fantastic results. Wouldn't that be something to write about in a press release promoting your affiliate opportunity and asking users to join you in your new venture?

Think about what some of your existing clients questions have been over the last few weeks and the answers you gave that client. Write them down and then expand on that issue. Think of other questions that you had when you first started using the program and write down the answers to those questions. You now have a basis for issuing a press release about your latest and greatest addition to your marketing endeavors.

Once you get your press release written and you've met all the guidelines for publishing press releases then publish your release on your website, blogs and any submission service that you can find that will publish your new found opportunity. Many of the free publishing services have a limited time they will leave your release live on the internet. In some cases you will find that these free services will only keep your release for two years or less.

By publishing your press release on your own website, personal or business blog, forum or possibly your own article directory, these releases can include multiple permanent links pointing back to your website. The search engines love back links so the more links you can generate the higher your page ranking will appear when a search query is made containing your keywords or keyword phrases. In article directories you can normally place up to three links in the bio area of your press release, blog or directory post.

Don't forget to hand index the unique URL of your press release to at least the big three search engines. Since most of the queries are made through Google, Yahoo and Bing your site should see some substantial movements in the search engine results. Some of the bigger press release companies are associated with some of the bigger most respected publishers on the internet so don't overlook this tremendous opportunity to get your name, your companies name and information in front of the major players.

Make your press release interesting, informative and don't try to sell your product through the press release. Many of the publishers will pick up on your attempt to sell your opportunity and will ban your information from being published. If one of these major players in the publishing business decides to pick up your information, they will distribute your release to literally thousands of other publishers and your article may even be picked up and featured by one of the big boys. I've personally had some of my press releases syndicated and ended up with hundreds of thousands of hits. This type of promotion is powerful if done correctly. If you don't know how to do a press release you can hire a professional marketing specialist to do it for you. Most of the time you can get a professional to write a good press release for about a hundred dollars on up. Believe me it's worth every penny of the cost to have it done correctly by someone who knows what they are doing.

There are some of the press release publishers that will distribute your press release for free. Some charge a small fee for each release they publish. The paid versions will normally get a better exposure than the free programs. The paid versions also publish quickly where some of the free publishers may wait weeks to publish. Many times the free versions don't even publish your information. If depends on their work load, the amount of paid releases they have and sometimes is seems like their mood even may play a part in whether they publish or not.

The paid versions of this process typically include better distribution to the news wires and search engines as well. It is my recommendation to go with the paid versions because of the extra value. It takes about the same amount of effort to do it right as it does to do it wrong. Let the system work for you the most effective way possible. In my experience with online marketing there are no shortcuts to get the results you deserve for the efforts you put forth. If you don't understand this whole concept, then acquire the services of a professional early on in any of your projects.

Organic Search Engine Rankings!

Every once in awhile you'll see a company which states they will "guarantee" you a "Top Positions on Google" is you pay them some outlandish fees. With the ever changing algorithms of the Search Engines this should be a red flag for you not to get involved. Earning organic page ranks with Google and other fine search engines can NOT be bought….you must earn your organic position. The search engine algorithms are complex, ever changing and highly secretive regarding the guidelines and are only available to a selected few of the search engines staff. This is done for the purpose of leveling the playing field for all online marketers.

The reason Google must change their algorithms so often is to protect their paid advertising revenues that are generated by their pay per click Adwords programs. Sure you can use this form of promoting to get top positions by how much you bid on particular adwords and you can buy a top position even though you are a small company with no track record of quality products, zero sales or may have a questionable business ethics. This type of advertising is extremely costly if you want to pay for high rankings and top positions.

Changes are so frequent on the search engines you may see hundreds or even thousands of changes every single month. You will see your page ranking position be on page one of Google today and tomorrow you may show up on page 80 or maybe not show up at all. To be in top positions on Google and other search engines consistently takes a lot of work and implementing the right procedures in your marketing campaigns. You should never consider falling for the lies of top organic positions with any company for any amount of money. No one can legitimately guarantee you organic top positions on any search engine.

Google algorithms will continue to change and the only way you're going to earn those high organic positions and keep them is to keep up with the latest changes and apply SEO strategies on an ongoing basis. Most people don't have a clue on how this is done and can't learn or don't want to learn this ever changing process. This is where you need to find an SEO Optimization Team that has a proven track record and is willing to work with you and your business to make this process all happen.

Letting your efforts dwindle even by a small amount can be devastating to your success and your competition will soon leave you in the dust. Don't get discouraged with how slow the rankings change with the search engines. Sure we all want success to happen overnight, but your success isn't going to be fulfilled quickly. It took Google 10 years to become the #1 search engine giant that we enjoy today. Building a site that consistently ranks high on the search engines can take months and even years to become a successful online venture. If you're not in this business for the long haul, then you might as well take a different direction right from the start.

Google has built a following of serious marketers that are passionately loyal to Google and statics show that over 75% of all searches online use Google as their choice of search engines. Other search engines as well as article and marketing directories use Google as their preference for their information source.

It's the goal of every online marketer to earn a "Top Positions on Google." However, there are only so many positions on page one of the search engines. Ninety per cent of all users on the internet won't search past page one of the search engines on any query for a specific targeted search. Most users have used Google and have seen the results returned on their queries; however, very few people even know what they are looking at.

One effective way to effectively market your business online is to use a combination of organic strategies and paid ads we discussed earlier. Paid ads consistently cost 8-9 times more than organic strategies so use good judgment when you decide which method to use. If you still are questionable about what to do, then seek the services of a SEO Marketing Consultant as soon as possible.

The search engines use certain guidelines that we've discussed in some of our other recent writings. Just to recap….you can be involved in paid ads which can be found normally on the right hand side of the search results page. Your positions will depend on how much money you're willing to bid for a particular keyword.

In Summary: Organic results of a search page accounts for about 70-80% of all clicks on the search results page. By simple analysis of the facts above it's easy to see which would be the best method to use for effective marketing solutions. The cost of organic marketing is more affordable, visibility is higher and management is minimal.

Paid advertisements have less exposure because of 20-30% click thru ratio, cost more to participate in and takes an great deal of time to manage.

Promote Your Affiliate Opportunity by Writing Articles!

Affiliate Marketing has been around for a while but most people really don't understand how it works and what has to be done to get a replicated site recognize by the search engines. First of all we need to have a common understanding of what affiliate marketing is all about and why certain things happen when promoting affiliate sites. There has been an incredible amount of money made by some individuals who have studied the process and applied their knowledge to market effectively using the affiliated marketing strategies they've learned.

The whole concept of affiliate marketing is to allow individuals to promote other peoples products or business opportunities. This is accomplished by having your own sales splash page pointing to the main their website and you getting paid a commission for advertising and promoting their business. There's no investment here except for the affiliate's time spent for these promotional activities and directing new customers to the company's main website.

Commissions vary with each company who offer affiliate programs so it's up to each person who wants this type of setup as their primary method of marketing online. There are numerous products and services that you can get involved with by typing in the Google Search Bar the term affiliate business opportunities. Make sure you understand how and when you will be paid. Many companies will hold your commissions until you've earned a fair amount of commissions before they will pay. Some organizations require you earn as much as much as $250 before the company will payout any commissions.

You will probably have to promote multiple products and services in order to make a respectable income if affiliate marketing is going to be your only method of generating income. However, affiliate marketing is an excellent way to possibly earn some income while you're putting your own opportunity together. Some companies only pay for the initial transaction with a bit higher commission structure for the initial sale, however, pay nothing for any monthly payments that may be paid by your customer. Residual income in this business is imperative if you want to succeed for the long haul. Look for residual income for 2 to 3 level deep before you make a commitment to spend a lot of time on affiliate programs.

Avoid the pie in the sky programs that say you get paid 10 levels deep or to infinity. What a joke. This type of program may be good for the owner of the program or those who got in on the ground floor of the opportunity but probably not for you. By all means do your due diligence before you get involved with any type of "to good to be true" programs. Always avoid any type of pyramid schemes.

If you decide to go with any one of the types of affiliate programs we've discussed earlier then the question comes up of how to promote such a concept. Please understand that the search engines don't index replicated websites. So be very cautious about getting involved with an affiliate programs that demands you use their replicated site and has restrictions on what you can promote and how you do it. There are companies that can help you with this questionable method of marketing. Make sure you check out the various aspects of promoting affiliate opportunities before you jump in with both feet. Ask a professional marketing expert about affiliate marketing and whether this type of marketing is the best way to make money online.

One of the most cost effect methods of promoting any type of opportunity online is with a marketing concept often referred to as Article Marketing. By implementing article marketing into your overall marketing strategies you can create countless back links to your site plus substantial increase in traffic to your business opportunity. More traffic evolves into more sales and that's what marketing is all about.

There are some important points that need to be addressed about article writing especially if your thrust is going to be for affiliate marketing purposes. Writing articles is an excellent way to promote a specific product or services explaining the values your products or services provide for the users. Your product review should be interesting for the reader and should be in a low key, non threatening format. Once you've provided this valuable information to the reader, make sure you have some links at the bottom of the article which will point the users to the main web site sales page for additional information

The information in your splash page should be clear, concise and informative and blend smoothly into your contact information in the resource box at the bottom of the splash page. This is where you should place your links to your website and product pages for the user's convenience. Sometimes you may want to include some form of incentive to entice your readers to participate in your opportunity. Just be sure to ask for the users contact information if you're giving something away.

In Conclusion: Affiliate Marketing is a good way to make some extra money while you're getting a primary business together. Do your due diligence when getting involved with any affiliate program and be sure the company you're dealing with offers a residual commissions on all future monthly subscription payments made by your customers. Use marketing tools that will make your marketing duties easy, affordable and effective.

Writing Powerful Content for Readers and Search Engines!

It's important to capture the attention of your readers quickly in any writings that you do. There's no better place than in the title of your article. Try to use two or three of your keywords in the title if at all possible. Many people look at the title and make a choice of whether to read any further or not. By making your title keyword specific you can target a broader reading audience much quicker.

Some writers feel that the longer the title of an article the better. The length of your title doesn't really matter as long as long as you capture the attention of your reading audience and they continue to read your article to the end. Try to put yourself in the mind of your readers and think as they would think about what you're trying to convey to the masses.

There are hundreds of article online discussing every topic one can imagine. Your only edge to get people to read your article may be the targeted title you finally end up with and publish. The title is the first thing people look at so be very careful when deciding what you end up using for a title.

Once you've got the title that will captivate the attention of your readers, then you must focus on the content of your writing. You are not writing a mystery novel here so don't keep your readers in suspense. In your first paragraph be specific about what you're writing about using keywords that best describes your thoughts that can be found in the content of your article. Unless you get to the point rather quickly, your readers will quickly exit your writings and go to a competitor's article that may captures their attention.

An equally important element that must be considered is the acceptance of your writings by the search engines. Writing for page rankings with the search engines is vitally important to a successful marketing campaign. The content of each site, blog, forum or article should be focused on pleasing the search engines with proper formatting as well as good keyword specific copy. A good rule of thumb is to use 5-7 keywords or keyword phrases well positioned in your article that are specific to your subject matter. Don't use any keyword more than about 5 times in the full content of your article. Avoid keyword stuffing at all cost.

Be extremely cautious not to overdo the amount of keywords in your article. There are varied opinions by optimization specialist regarding what percentage is acceptable with the search engine without getting nailed for keyword stuffing and spamming. Some say from 3-5% is the maximum you should consider while others may go as high as 10% saturation of keywords to total word content. My personal opinion is why take the chance ….try to stay more to the low side with 5-6% ratios for acceptable saturation guidelines.

Be specific rather than using examples and metaphors. The search engines are robots not humans so you must be specific with good relevant keywords and phrases in all of your content.

Use short paragraphs for the benefit of your readers. Many individuals scan read and will read only the first few words of a paragraph. Your reading audience online is totally different than if you were writing a book. People on line are looking for answers to specific questions that are affecting their lives right now. If they want to read about witches and goblins they can go to Barnes and Noble and buy volumes of that type of reading material.

With the information available on line today people will spend an incredible amount of time skimming over volumes of material on any given subject before making a final choice for any purchase. Knowing this before you write will give you a competitive edge and a whole new perspective on how you write. Use this information to your advantage. Writing in small chunks will help those readers who skim read and permit them to make their choices much quicker than having to read volumes of unrelated information. Many people will read your title and closing remarks and then make a choice of whether to read the content of your article or not.

Write your articles in plain and simple English so your readers will feel totally comfortable reading what you have to say. Once you start getting technical, using fancy words or getting political you will lose a good share of your reading audience immediately.

Once you've stated your case and told your story about your product or service in the main content area of your site or article, then do a short recap at the end to help simplify the process of choices for the readers to buy or not to buy. You are reinforcing features stated in your article and many readers will remember only two things in this whole process which is the title of your article and the conclusion area of your writing.

In Conclusion: Write a captivating title using two or three keyword specific title for each article relative to the content you've written about in your content area. Use keywords and phrases in the content area with a reasonable percentage of keywords to total words ratio used in the article. Make it easy for your reader to scan read making the purchasing process a more positive outcome. Do a summary, conclusion or overview of your article and ask for the order in some form of a bi-line section found at the bottom of the article.

Promote Your Business by Writing Good Copy!

There's a whole new breed of internet users joining the internet workforce looking for independence, flexibility of schedule and freedom to spend more time with the kids and family. Maybe your intent is to make enough money to take a dream vacation to the islands that up till now has evaded you and your loved ones. Whatever your reasons for your new online venture, the needs to follow a blueprint to success is important. Writing will help you accomplish your goals.

The internet is a tremendous resource of information with literally millions of website offering every kind of opportunity imaginable. The big question for most people is "where do I start" in order to make this venture a successful, rewarding journey? Most individuals don't have a clue of where to begin so don't feel you're alone if you've ask yourself such a question.

We all started in this business right where you are now, so don't get discouraged. I can vividly recall when I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on a computer, let alone try to market online. I was in my early 60's, retired, and looking for something to do so I could keep up with the cost of inflation and make some extra spending money to support my golf habit and other interest.

I had no clue of what to do, so I did what I knew best and that was to do my due diligence on anything regarding how to market online. I sought the advice of what appeared to be some online professionals. Someone who would teach me what I needed to know about marketing correctly, effectively and without all the hype that appeared to go with many of the offering I had seen in my beginning days of online activities.

One of the things I learned early on in my research was that writing is an important element in building a successful online presence that was necessary to learn if I was to become successful. Like most people I felt that I had no ability to write anything that would capture someone's attention. So I didn't take it seriously at all. I knew I could sell because that's what I had done all through my working career.

Little did I realize that writing was the quickest, most affordable and effective way to promote any online business opportunity! I had to learn how to write. I was privileged to set in some writing classes by Dr. Forte who had a natural ability in teaching the art and science of "writing to win." She taught me to just be myself and write like I think and talk in my regular normal everyday conversations. Don't put on any fluff on who you are, what you know or what you've done in the past. Live in the here and now and write what you feel that's affecting your life at this present moment. Thanks Dr. Forte for your guidance.

Writing good copy is the key to online success. Whether you're writing copy for your website, a blog or an article for publication in an article directory, the need to convey your message effectively to the masses is a critical element one must master. You must put yourself in the reader's shoes and write what is important about your product or service and how with your opportunity you can help solve important issues in your reader's life.

If you're attempting to provide solutions for the younger generation, talking about something for the old folks is of no value. You must have a target audience in mind when you start your explanation of your product or service and be cautious not to vary to far from that audience.

You must make your presentation compelling in an effort to motivate your readers to join you in your opportunity. You must answer important questions that may be ask about your product or services. Knowing who your reading audience is will help you write some compelling emails, blogs, forum and articles that will capture their attention and keep their attention to the very end of your writings.

Showing how your product or service can benefit your reader can be enhanced by using some powerful, relevant keywords and phrases regarding your business opportunity. Writing content for a website is somewhat different than writing for blogs or articles you're going to be publishing. You may need to do some extra research to fine tune your thought process for writing often about your services.

Keep your articles to single page format if at all possible. Give information, however, don't get too technical. If someone wants more specific technical information let them personally do that research on the subject matter in question. Give your readers enough information to draw them in.

It's imperative that you check your spelling and grammar in every one of your writings. This will give you credibility and give you the appearance of being a professional and your reading audience will be more apt to stick around and read your complete article. Avoid writing with the intent of making your information appear as an infomercial. Giving good information will automatically entice your reader to become involved with you and your business.

There are individuals who can help you learn to write together with as some inexpensive software that can be very helpful in learning the art and science of learning to write. Just remember what I've suggested in some of my other articles. "You Learn To Write By Writing"! The more you write the better you will become in expressing yourself in the written word. Writing will help you build your business quicker than any other single method you can do in your promotional efforts.

Should You Write Your Own Content?

The content of your website should fully detail what your business opportunity is all about. If must describe your opportunity in simple yet non technical wording that the average reader can easily follow and understand. Having a lengthy content that is more hype than facts is a major turn off to most users. Your content must cover a broad spectrum of information yet be non threatening and pushy in the opinion of the user. The internet was designed to provide realistic information about products and services so trying to use the internet for strictly an automatic sales tool will probably backfire and blow up in your face.

Your content in your website, blog, forum or marketing article should be designed with the user in mind providing information that in relevant to the desires and needs of the end user. Of course in this process you must keep in mind the search engines and provide good relevant content so the search engines can index your site in the proper keyword categories. Your content should be well written and interesting enough to capture the attention of your readers and keep their interest to the last words of your writing.

If you write an article with good relevant content clearly explaining the features and benefits of your business opportunity will definitely improve the chances of the readers being interested enough in your writings to visit your website and see the full details of what you are offering. The more traffic you can generate to your site the greater chance of developing a new clients business. New clients spend money and isn't that what this gig is all about? Making money online will become the huge reward for a job well done.

By writing some great articles with good rich content you will start to see the search engines displaying your website higher and higher in the page ranking when users type in their queries in the search bar of Google, Yahoo and Bing and some of the other fine search engines, the search engines will soon display your site with higher replies based on the good keywords you've used in your writings.

Many people can't write or maybe just don't want to write articles or content for their websites. That's fine as long as you get someone to write for you. There are ghost writers who make a living online by writing good content for multiple clients. Either you must write or hire someone to do it for you since this is how the search engines indexes every site you see online. Needless to say a ghost writer may not be as familiar with what you need to publish as you are, however, some content is better than no content in this scenario.

Once you learn the art and science of marketing and incorporate article writing into your daily chores you will see substantial results in your website popularity, your link popularity will increase remarkably and you will start getting hits to your site in larger numbers. Make sure you are prepared for this influx of traffic and potential clients. Know your product or services like the back of your hand and be well informed about your competition. The one who has the most knowledge, affordable products and follow up support will be the business who will capture the new customers business.

If you hire a writer you can get some good writers that will charge a minimal fee for their writing services. Fees will run from 4-5 dollars for a 250 word article to maybe $10 for an 800-900 word article. If you consider your time valuable at all, this is an affordable alternative you may want to consider. These writers can be found easily on line with varying degrees of knowledge. A good ghost writer will do the research, write the article, proofread and even let you take the credit for the content. What a deal!

When you contact these writers, most of them are more than willing to send you some samples of their recent writings. Ask them to email you one of their latest articles and question their credentials of success.

In Conclusion: Learn to write and write often. If you don't like to write or just don't have the time then by all means hire the services of a good ghost writer. If you need professional help then don't hesitate to ask for some help. Going this road alone may result in a huge disaster, however, letting the professionals help you when you need it can be extremely rewarding.
