The Power of Article Marketing!

The Power of Article Marketing!

In today's online market place, a little imagination can go along ways in promoting your business opportunity. There are numerous methods of promoting your website and many of the various methods of marketing may be combined and really turn out to be a fantastic combination of effective marketing strategies.

The whole purpose of promoting your opportunity online is to get traffic to your site and hopefully someone visiting your website will like your information well enough to make a purchase. If a user makes a purchase you will make a profit or a commission depending on how you have your system setup. This is the whole concept of promoting on line. However, there are proven methods of enhancing your chances for your online success.

Providing quality information for the users is what will drive traffic to your site. There is only so much that can be included in a website, so it becomes necessary to provide additional information to your clients as well as people on your mailing list. This can be accomplished in a couple of ways. Writing a weekly or monthly newsletter would be a medium of communication that would keep them informed of new and exciting products you may have to offer. Many promoters overlook this type of information sharing opportunity all together and as a result are limiting their chances of a successful online future.

Writing articles is one of the most powerful driving forces that will draw new contacts to your website. There are other advantages of writing articles regarding the search engines to. The search engines uses keyword rich content in their algorithms to rank your website in all of their search results pages when a query is made by a user. The higher the page rank of your site, the more traffic that will be referred to your website from the search engines. In simple math the more traffic you get, the more sales can be made and the more money you make.

Once you have established yourself as a trustworthy information source by the users, you will have a steady flow of traffic coming back to your site for more information. One well written article regarding your product or service is priceless. Soon your reputation will spread to friends, business contacts and other parties of interest regarding the opportunities you write about.

Your writings should be focused on keywords and keyword phrases about your business opportunity. When a potential client types a query in the search area of their browser, they are normally looking for a specific subject matter. This is where the keywords come into play. If your keyword rich article has been indexed by the search engines then hopefully the engines will display your opportunity to the user who queried that same keyword or phrases.

The critical issue here is to have your article, website, or newsletter with an acceptable balance of keywords to content ratio that is required by the search engine algorithms. There are different schools of thought of what is the correct ratio. Some experts feel that 10-15 % keyword saturation is acceptable. Others may say that 5-7% is the acceptable ratio. I personally have tried both of these ratios and both worked well. A word of caution here, some times less keywords is more effective as long as the keywords are strategically placed in your writings. The search engines are really strict about keyword stuffing and will penalize you severally even to the point of banning your site. So be very careful in this part of your writings. Personally I wouldn't try to get away with fifteen percent saturation, that's pushing the envelope a bit too far.

Good article content is imperative to the success of writing. As we've discussed in some of our other writings, "Content is King" whether in your website or in your writings. Your articles must be informative, entertaining and without a lot of hype and questionable content.

When writing for your website, newsletters or marketing articles you should use good grammar and always check for correct spelling. Your writing must come across to the reader as being well researched and totally professional. This will help you build a bond between you and the reader which will develop into a reputation that you are truly an expert regarding your topic and business opportunity.

In all of your writings, always include your links pointing the user to your website, ezines, newsletters or other articles regarding like subjects. Be careful not to put multiple links in the content of your writings, this may distract the reader before they are able to get the full purpose of what you're writing about.

Many authors will only include links in a resource box at the end of their content. In the resource box you can include a brief description of your site, and 2-3 links where you want the user to go. This may include a sign up page where you can capture the user's information for future mailings. If the user likes the information in your ezine or article they will be more receptive in giving you their information as well as being more responsive to any future opportunities you may share with your readers.

This article has been a general overview of some of the important things to consider in your writing experiences. If you're serious about writing you should do some study and research regarding this powerful method of marketing online. Good Luck in your article marketing efforts.
